10-Year Warranty

All products manufactured by Wimberley are covered by a 10-year warranty. Our warranty covers manufacturing defects and product malfunction during normal use. If you have a problem with one of our products that falls outside of the conditions or time-span of the warranty, we will make every effort to fix the problem quickly and at a reasonable cost.

Important Gray Market Purchase Notice

Wimberley offers a generous ten year manufacturer warranty against defect on all products that are sold through authorized resellers only. The sale of Wimberley products through unauthorized outlets renders our product warranty coverage null and void. Products purchased through unauthorized sources are not covered by our manufacturer's warranty, therefore the consumer is fully responsible for any and all charges associated with repairing items obtained through unauthorized sources.
This policy was adopted in order to provide our product users with the highest possible level of customer support if ever there is an issue with their Wimberley product. We are, however, happy to assist all users with the repair of any Wimberley product, whether or not the product is covered under warranty.

We normally have a 3 business day turn-around for repairs, however your item repair time may vary depending on the seriousness of the issue and our Production Department schedule on any given day. If you are in the field and need emergency assistance, or have an upcoming trip or assignment and cannot be without your gear, please let us know. We are committed to working with you to get fully-functioning Wimberley equipment to you in a time frame that fits your schedule.
Before sending your item in for repair, please provide us with the following information about your Wimberley product:
  • Date and place of original purchase, or approximate age of item (a copy of the original sales receipt will be required for warranty coverage verification)
  • Serial number (only applicable if the issue is with a Wimberley Head Version II or Sidemount Version II)
  • Description of the issue and how long it has been occurring
  • When you might be able to send in your product for repair service
